Ride To School Day

Last Thursday, the 20th of March, we celebrated Ride to School Day at our school. It’s a celebration of active travel and a perfect opportunity for students and school communities to embrace a healthier start and to try walking and riding to school for themselves.

It was fantastic to see so may students take advantage of this opportunity by riding, scooting, skating or walking to school. We had over 60 bikes, scooters and skates around our bike shed on the day.  

I met a keen group of cyclists at Tony Clarke Reserve for the ride up to school. Thanks so much to those students for making the effort, and to all the parents who supported us on the ride.
