WOW Week 6 is already done!!

Where has the term gone?

Literacy:

In literacy we have been reading the book “How is it Built?” This has been the model for use to write our own explanation piece of writing. In coming weeks we will start our reading groups. This kids will be in a small group and have a text they are all reading. They meet every Monday to discuss what they have read and then decide what they will need  to read before the following week.

Numeracy:

This week we have been learning about how to solve problems using addition. Next week will we complete our post assessment and then we move onto subtraction.

Inquiry:

This term we are learning about light and the science around it. The kids have been performing experiments looking at how light travels and the difference between transparent, translucent and opaque.
