Student Arrivals
Please remember that families are responsible for providing supervision of their child/ren up until the first bell of the day (8.30am) when classrooms open. If your child arrives at school before this time and you are unable to stay to supervise them, please ensure they go to sit in the Front Office.
Students regularly arriving without an adult before the start of school (8.30am) will need to be booked into the OSHC service.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping our children safe.
Welcome
We are so pleased to welcome Elana to our school. She has recently moved to Adelaide with her parents, Mark and Helen, and brother, Albert. We hope you all quickly make connections as you join our school community!
Please keep an eye out for Elana and her family and introduce yourself to them.
Need to Find Something? Ask Fergus!
Have you ever read something in a school newsletter or seen some information on our website but then struggled to find it again? Fergus, our AI chatbot, is here to help!
Since we first introduced Fergus last year, he has been helping parents with quick answers to common questions about school life. Whether you’re wondering about term dates, uniform requirements, student-free days, or even just looking for a (bad) joke to brighten your day, Fergus is here to help!
Available 24/7 on our website from your phone, tablet or PC, Fergus is designed to make life easier for our families by providing quick answers to common questions. Of course, our friendly Administration Team is still here whenever you need the personal touch.
Give Fergus a try today, and if he comes up short, let us know – we’re always keen to improve his knowledge.
School Tours
We have an upcoming Principal's Tour on Saturday 15th March, 10.00am
There are also regular personal tours, a smaller tour group with our Registrar, Kristen Heath. These are generally held on a Tuesday or Thursday morning at 10.00am.
If you have friends who may be interested in enrolling their child at Pilgrim School, please direct them to our website or share the above links and encourage them to book for one of our tours.
Secondary Enrolment at Emmaus Christian College
Pilgrim School values its strong and long-standing partnership with Emmaus Christian College, a relationship built over many years. Many of our graduates choose to continue their education at Emmaus, as both schools share a commitment to nurturing young people in a supportive, Christ-centred community. Together, we uphold core Christian values, prioritise student wellbeing, foster strong family partnerships, and strive for outstanding academic success.
Pilgrim School students whose families meet the enrolment criteria for Emmaus Christian College receive priority. If you are considering Emmaus Christian College as a secondary pathway for your child, we strongly encourage you to begin the enrolment process as early as Year 3.
We encourage families to consider secondary school options early to avoid disappointment of missing out on their preferred choice.
Uniform Update
We will no longer be selling boys' summer and winter shirts, girl's summer dresses and woollen jumpers without the Campus logo in our second-hand uniform pool (as these uniform items were updated a number of years ago to include the logo. If you still have these items without logos, students can continue wearing them but you will not be able to put them in the second-hand pool.
Parent Teacher Conferences
We will be holding Parent Teacher Conferences (formerly known as 'Parent Teacher Interviews') at the end of this term. Please login to the Compass App or Portal and click on the note about booking a Conference time or click on the 'Conference' tile. You can then choose your child and your chosen time for attending a conference to book.
Conferences are 15 minutes and will be held in the Performing Arts Centre. We remind you to please not bring your children to the conferences.
Our teaching team look forward to connecting with you and discussing your child’s progress with two opportunities during Week 11:
- Tuesday 7th April 3.30pm – 8.00pm
- Thursday 9th April 3.30pm – 6.00pm
Please note: Year 1/2O families have been sent an email with dates of their Parent Teacher Conferences which will be held on Monday 31st March and Wednesday 2nd April in the Meeting Room at Pilgrim School.
If you have specific questions or concerns you would like to discuss with your child's class teacher, please use the following link.
Belong and Blossom Playgroup
Belong and Blossom occurs on Monday and Wednesday from 9.00am - 10.45am, during term time of school. To register please contact the Front Office, so you can receive our weekly emails letting you know about the week ahead.
This is a time to connect with other parents and for your child to begin their connection with Pilgrim and some of the teachers in the Early Years team. We have story, craft and play times. We share fruit together and end our session with a story and some songs.
