Shrove Tuesday Pancakes & Ash Wednesday Mass

 – Marking the Start of Lent

Next week, we will be kicking off the season of Lent with two special events.

On Shrove Tuesday, we invite students to join us for a Pancake Breakfast at our first break. A gold coin donation will get you a delicious pikelet, with all proceeds going towards our Project Compassion Fundraising.

Then, on Ash Wednesday, we will gather for Mass at 9:00 AM in the school church to mark the beginning of Lent—a time of reflection, prayer, and giving.

We look forward to seeing you there as we begin this important season together.

Praying for Pope Francis

Over the past few days, our students have been keeping Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church, in their morning prayers. We continue to pray for his strength and recovery and wish him a speedy return to good health.

If you would like to pray for him at home, you may use the following prayer:

Loving God, We come before You in prayer, lifting up Pope Francis in his time of need. We ask You to surround him with Your loving presence, granting him strength and recovery. We place Pope Francis into Your hands, trusting in Your care. We ask, through the Blessed Virgin Mary, for his quick recovery. O Lord, may Your healing power be with him always. We offer this prayer in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Let us continue to keep Pope Francis in our thoughts and prayers during this time.
