Supporter's Apparel
In preparation for our winter season, our Supporter's Apparel is back on sale at Oxford Falls. We have Pius-branded winter jackets, sleeveless puffas, polos, pink caps, navy caps, beanies, scarves, zipper hoodies and quarter zip light weight pullovers .
Items will be displayed near the Basketball Canteen. We have limited stock remaining so I would encourage supporters to get in early to avoid disappointment.
NB. Supporter’s apparel is not for student use.
Photos of each item can be seen below, along with pricing for each item.
In conjuction with the P&F, the College has made every effort to keep prices to a minimum and we look forward to seeing as many supporters as possible, across the cocurricular programs, adopt the new range of attire.
ISA Semi Finals
Comiserations to those teams who bowed out from the summer season competition last weekend. Thanks go to all involved in the summer season to this point.
It is always disappointing when teams lose at this stage however the way in which we accept defeat is important.
Those teams who missed out on grand final places handled their disappointment with great dignity and were a credit to the college.
Good luck to our teams in their Grand Finals
All the very best to our basketball teams in their Grand Final this Saturday. I also take this opportunity to congratulate and thank our coaches whose hard work, along with their teams, have made it to this level in the ISA competition.
I remind these students of the following information from ISA:
All jewellery is to be removed prior to the fixture
All players need to be in the same uniform
Seated on the benches should ONLY be players and team officials. Team officials should be identifiable eg School polo shirt.
I also take this opportunity to, once again, remind students and parents of the ISA Code of Conduct, attached below for your reference. Spectators should support positively and ensure that they do not interact with officials or opposing teams.
NSWCIS Baseball
We congratulate Max Draper of Yr 10, who, following CIS trials earlier this term, has been selected in the NSW CIS Baseball team to play in a tournament on Central Coast later this month. This is a fantastic achievement and we wish Max well in his future endeavours in this sport.
Mr Matthew Stearn - Assistant Princpial, Cocurricular

Good luck to these teams who will travel to Blacktown and Barker for their fixtures.
Old Boys Day
Sunday 9 March saw our 1sts take on SPX Old Boys. In what was a close match the Old Boys prevailed 75-68. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the event one to remember.
Year 7 Term 1 Basketball Grading Series
A huge thank you to all players and families who attended the first round of the grading series last weekend! Your support and commitment set a great tone for the future of SPX Basketball.
Just confirming that the series will conclude on 22 March (Open Day), with fixtures now available on Clipboard.

Throughout the grading series, team placements may change to ensure the best development experience for all players. Games will be played against St Augustine’s, Redlands, and St Paul’s Grammar, with a focus on skill development and growth, rather than just results.
Looking forward to another great round of games this weekend!
