St Pius X Open Day - Saturday 22 March - BBQ and Canteen Helpers needed.

We are looking for volunteers to help cook at the P&F BBQ for prospective parents on Open Day. It’s a fantastic way to spend an hour, especially if your sons are giving tours. Come join us at the BBQ, have a chat with other parents, and help us showcase the warm and welcoming community we have at St Pius X College. If you are interested, please sign up to volunteer here.

SPX P&F Business Directory – Connect & Support Our Community

The P&F is pleased to announce the launch of our new Parent Business Directory initiative. This directory aims to strengthen our school community by connecting parents who offer services with those who need them.

What is it?

A dedicated platform where parents can list their businesses or professional services, making it easier for our school community to support each other.

How to join:

If you own a business or offer professional services, please sign up using this link:

· Support fellow school parents in their business endeavors

· Find trusted services within our community

· Create stronger connections among our parent body

The directory will be available to current parents only and is an excellent way to network while supporting our school community.

Stay connected via WhatsApp Year Groups

Many year groups have specific WhatsApp groups to help parents connect with each other and stay informed about year group activities and events. These WhatsApp groups are voluntary, run by parents, and are optional to join or read.

Please note that official SPX communications will continue to be broadcast through Woodchatta and other College platforms.

P&F Cocktail Party

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the P&F 2025 Welcome Cocktail Party last Friday. It was wonderful to see so many of you there, and we truly appreciate your support in making the evening a success.

A special word of thanks to the staff and teachers at St Pius X, as well as the P&F committee, for their dedication and hard work in hosting and organising this event. The P&F would also like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to Mr Stephen Cummins and Mr Max Lenton (Old Boy, 2024) for providing fantastic live music and adding a special touch to the atmosphere.
