Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
This week, as part of Student Wellbeing, the whole school is focusing on the Character Strength of Fairness!
Fairness means treating people in a way that is right and respectful. It doesn’t always mean giving everyone the same thing, but it means giving people what they need to be successful and feel included!
On Monday, students brought home a footprint so that families could discuss what fairness looks like at home. Every student can decorate their footprint with a reflection on fairness, an example of fairness in action, or a pledge to be fair. Students can draw or write on their footprints.
These footprints are being displayed on the library doors to create a ‘Fairness Footsteps’ display, so please cut around the outline before returning.
Please bring your footprint to school by Friday the 7th of March for them to be included in the display.
Thank you for supporting this initiative. Let’s explore the strength of fairness together!
Warm regards,
Melina
