As we reach the end of Term 3, it is an opportune time to reflect on the many achievements, experiences, and opportunities that have shaped the past ten weeks. Our students have embraced learning with enthusiasm, demonstrated resilience and growth, and contributed positively to school life both inside and outside the classroom. We thank our staff, students, and families for their ongoing support and commitment, and we look forward to finishing the year strongly as we prepare for an exciting and productive Term 4.
A friendly reminder that next Friday 18th September, the early finish timewill be adjusted due to changes in crossing supervision arrangements. To ensure the safety of all students travelling to and from school, classes will be dismissed at 2:30pm; as communicated to families earlier this week. We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to maintain safe and orderly procedures for all students at the end of the term.
As we move into the holiday break, we kindly remind families to keep students at home if they are unwell. Returning to school before fully recovering can increase the spread of illness and impact the wellbeing of others in our community. If your child has experienced vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, or other contagious symptoms, please ensure they have recovered and met any recommended exclusion periods before returning to school. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy and safe learning environment for all students and staff.
Finally, a very big congratulations to Mr. Glenn McMillan who is getting married to his partner Kat next weekend. We wish Glenn, Kat and their daughter Eleanor every happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter together. Congratulations, Glenn!

Enrolments 2027
We are currently planning for the 2027 school year and have been delighted by the exceptional interest and enrolments for Foundation. A limited number of Foundation places have recently become available.
If you know of any families considering St Joseph’s for 2027, I encourage them to contact our school office as soon as possible to discuss enrolment opportunities and avoid missing out. We also have limited vacancies in some of our other year levels.
No Hat, No Play
From Tuesday 1 September 2026, our 'No Hat, No Play' policy will be in effect. All students are required to wear a broad-brimmed or bucket hat when participating in outdoor activities.
Students who do not have an appropriate hat will be required to remain at the passive play tables in the shade. Please ensure your child's hat is clearly labelled with their name.
