News from our Parish

Easter is the most important Feast in the Church year.

Here are a few things you might like to consider.

*The Pageant of the Crucifixion takes place on Good Friday at 10.40 am.  It is short and has no speaking parts and is usually presented by teenagers. We have 2 volunteers and are looking for some more.

*The young people from the parish have collected for the Children’s Hospital since the 1980s.  This year we have already run a cake stall and games for the children after Mass and collected at Bunnings Chadstone.  On Good Friday we supply tins for volunteers to collect door to door and also at the intersection outside the church.  Everyone is welcome to come and help but children must be accompanied by an adult and intersection collectors must be at least 16 and under adult supervision.

If you would like to make a donation  we have a virtual collection tin, accessible at https://fundraise.goodfridayappeal.com.au/fundraisers/StAnthonysYouthGroup

*Easter Choir Some children are interested in singing at the Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday 30th March.  The children need to be able to read and to attend a short practice at a time to be arranged. Please contact Veronica Blair via the Parish House (9401 6336) or email veronica.blair@cam.org.au
