PE

Physical Education and Sport

Over the last two weeks, students have been engaged in the following learning:

Prep - working cooperatively with others, taking turns, exploring ways to use different equipment

Grade 1/2 - practising the fundamental motor skills of running and dodging

Grades 3 - 6 - students have commenced their Fitness unit, as well as practising for the school cross country

Cross Country

Our School Cross Country will be run at school again this year, for all students in Prep – Grade 6. It will be held on Tuesday the 30th of April, with the first race beginning promptly at 9am. An order of events will be posted on Compass soon. Students are encouraged to wear their house colours on this day, otherwise they can wear school uniform as normal (this is not a free dress day).

We will need parent helpers to assist with the running of our carnival. Roles will be basic (no experience required), but helpers will need a current Working with Children Check. If you can help, please email me before the end of term.
