Secondary Student Leaders

Our amazing group of 8 Secondary Student leaders from Years 10,11 and 12 started 2024 with a Student Leader Summit. 

A half day of team building and planning to connect and brainstorm the purpose of the group for the year ahead, in conjunction with the vision, mission and values of the wider school. We also explored the strengths and weaknesses of members and thought about the idea of Christian leadership in preparation for leading the student body. 

The emerging theme from the group was to help encourage the spiritual growth of students and to serve the school community as the hands and feet of Jesus. In this capacity our leaders are running a worship time called Awaken for students every Wednesday at lunch time. 

They have planned fun activities at break times on Friday and are assisting with leading at assemblies and serving at school functions as well as running one dedicated Worship Evening per term.
