CLUB DESCRIPTORS

INTERACT CLUB

is a team of students who are passionate about making a real difference in the world. The team is student-led and works to deliver on projects that tackle issues at a local and international level. From local community service initiatives to international humanitarian aid efforts, each project is designed to create lasting change. Over the past three years alone, we have partnered with various organisations to generate more than $50,000 worth of fundraising value. We are proudly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Frankston Sunrise, who provide professional mentors and resources to help us achieve our goals. For more information, drop in at any of our meetings on a Thursday lunchtime, or reach out to Mr Simmons and Mr Christie!

CHOIR

We sing and rehearse a wide variety of songs and styles for fun and to perform at external and school events. No audition is required.

SNACK AND CHAT

"Snack and Chat" and will provide a welcome space for Years 7 & 8 students to come eat lunch and chat with their peers and myself. There will be a variety of board games for them to use and these may help them to develop friendships and open communication with their peers.

For the playing of the classic tabletop role-playing game ‘Dungeons and Dragons

FULLY BOOKED

A book club for students. You decide what you read, and how you want to talk about it. Bring your lunch and a love of literature.

ECO CLUB

The Eco Team are a group of students who are interested in learning about environmental issues. They lobby the school for change, and are involved in activism in and outside of the school in the hope of developing a more sustainable, ethical and environmentally conscious school. The team tends to focus on ways to make the school more climate friendly.

LIFE COACHING

Dedicated to empowering teenagers on their journey of self-discovery and personal growth! Our club is a safe and supportive space where teens can explore their potential, set meaningful goals, and cultivate the skills needed to navigate the exciting challenges ahead.

LIFESAVING

"2023 was massive year for Surf Lifesaving at Frankston High School with a big camp of 60 students attending Portsea to gain Lifesaving qualifications, multiple surfs, multiple snorkels and many Surf Lifesaving games throughout the year.

2024 is going to be a bigger year in Surf Lifesaving with more enrolments, more surfs, more snorkels and a bigger camp.

"Make a difference and learn how to save a life."

Students can join up at any stage of the year by getting a form from Mr Cameron or Ms Tierney from the staffroom window."
