NEXT GENERAL PTF MEETING

This meeting will be held at the school on Wednesday, 10th April, at 5:30pm via Zoom only. Please click on the following link to access the meeting.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY

The Gunnedah Show Society gave our school the opportunity to earn some money at the show by collecting rubbish before the show commences. We expressed our interest for the morning of Friday, April 12th. The PTF was offered Friday morning, and it has been accepted.

The clean-up will start at 6am on Friday morning. Our team of workers would be required to: 

• Pick up the 44-gallon drums scattered around the Showground (approximately 30 drums) with a ute and empty them into one of the skip bins behind the Wool Shed and near the Poultry Shed, then return the drums to their position within the grounds.
• Pick up any rubbish around the grounds, particularly around the bar area & grandstand area.

WORKING BEE

We have scheduled a Working Bee at Sacred Heart School for Sunday, 26th May. We would love to see as many families as possible come to the school to complete a list of jobs around the premises. 

DROVER'S CAMPFIRE ~ BOGGABRI

The PTF will run the BBQ at the Drovers Campfire on Friday, 26th April, from 8am - 11:30am. If anyone is available to help out, please contact either Aidan Rodstrom or one of the members of the PTF executive team.

Students have been invited to sing the National Anthem on Friday, 26th April, at 5:00pm. If your child can be part of the choir, please complete this Google form ASAP.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK (WWCC)

Parents who volunteer at the school in any capacity around children other than their own are asked to provide a Working With Children Check. Volunteer Working With Children Checks can be obtained from Service NSW and, once obtained, are valid for 5 years. Just a friendly reminder that if you are a member of the PTF, you must have a current Working With Children Check. If you are unsure if you have a current WWCC, please don't hesitate to contact Ms Traynor in the office.

UNIFORM SHOP

Please check your child's Winter Uniforms to see if they need anything for Term 2 & 3. 

We have received many pre-loved items of clothing so please ask Tina on Thursday 11th April if you wish to see what is available.
