On March 21st, our Year 11 VCE-VM students had an exciting opportunity to attend the Australian Grand Prix, a renowned annual motor race in Melbourne broadcasted globally. Upon arrival, they observed the racing teams testing and qualifying cars for the main race. Demonstrating their autonomy and time management skills, students navigated their way into the city independently. Throughout the event, they were assigned the task of gathering evidence that highlighted the industry links and community connections pivotal to the Grand Prix. Drawing from their prior learnings in PDS and WRS subjects, students formulated questions that facilitated meaningful connections with stall holders and industry professionals.
