Hoop Time Tournament

Calling All Basketballers!

We are excited to announce that Fairfield Primary is planning to enter FPS teams into this year’s Hoop Time tournament. Hoop Time is a primary school aged basketball tournament run by Basketball Victoria, which brings together school kids from across Victoria for single-day round robin tournaments held at local basketball stadiums.

Teams are made up of Year 3 & 4 (Junior Level) and Year 5 & 6 (Senior Level) players – with both girls’ and boys’ teams. 

Dates of the tournaments are to be confirmed and will depend on availability and scheduling with other school events.

Please note that this tournament is for children who currently play, or have recently played, in a basketball team. If your child is interested in participating, please email Millie Lacey at with the following details by no later than Friday, 19 April.

• Current basketball team and grade – domestic and representative (if applicable).

Depending on the number of teams that we enter, we may be calling on a few parents to assist with coaching / team manager on the day. If you would be interested in helping, please also mention this in the email to Millie.
