First Beginner Ensemble Rehearsals

Over the past two weeks our beginner band (Etude Band) and string orchestra (Da Capo Strings) have had their first rehearsals. It’s been exciting for the students to hear their large ensembles with all the other instruments and start to learn the skills of listening to other parts and following a conductor.

Instrumental Fees Now Overdue

A small number of Instrumental Music levies have not yet been paid for tuition this year. The deadline has been extended to next Monday 25 March, but after this time students with unpaid fees will unfortunately need to be withdrawn from the program to allow for students on waiting lists to be offered places.

Music Camp

Music Camp information is now on Compass for members of the Chamber Strings and Symphonic Band senior ensembles. As Music Camp provides such an intensive period of rehearsal for the year’s performances, it is expected that all students from Years 8-12 who are members of these ensembles do attend the camp.

Year 7 students who are new to the senior ensembles and have just been on Year 7 Camp and can make their own decision about whether or not they want to come on the Music Camp as well.

Sponsor a Seat in the PAC

We are inviting you to be a part of our Performing Arts Centre as a Seat Sponsor.

With your gift of $300 (Premium Seat in the front section of the theatre)  or $250 (General Seating) each, you can play your part in continuing to upgrade and create a state-of-the-art facility for use by our students, as well as the wider community.

A plaque will be placed on the back of each seat you sponsor.
