Lunar New Year Lunch

On 15 February the International Students filled the Library (thanks to Ms Williams) to celebrate the Lunar New Year Lunch.

This is an important celebration for many of them and marking this occasion emphasises to the students how valued they are at EDSC.

The food was delicious, thanks to Kim Li who ordered from Dumpling Kitchen – dumplings and spring rolls, and Hong Hot Bread – Banh Mi.

Students were also provided with red packets filled with chocolate gold coins and lucky candy. 

The vibe on the day was peaceful as students mingled with each other to continue to build community, which is especially important for the most newly arrived !
