Clayfield College Gymnasts Shine Bright at QGSSSA Artistic Gymnastics Championships!
The 2024 QGSSSA Artistic Gymnastics Championships concluded with an incredible display of talent and nailing biting performances. I am thrilled to share the incredible success of our gymnasts at the QGSSSA Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Held at the PE Centre on Tuesday 26 March, it was a day filled with excitement, determination, and outstanding performances from our talented athletes.
Our gymnasts truly showcased their dominance, securing top positions across multiple divisions. It was a day of triumph as they brought home championship pennants in various grades:

Individual excellence was also on display as several of our gymnasts achieved remarkable feats:
- Isabella McDonnell Baum wowed the audience with a perfect 10:00 on the floor and achieved the highest score on the vault.
- Beatrice Gilbert left spectators in awe with her flawless routine, scoring a perfect 10:00 on the floor and vault.
- Kayden Fields executed her take-off flawlessly, achieving a perfect score of 10:00 on the vault.
- The dynamic duo of Grace and Lindsay Webb, a sister act, dazzled with their exceptional performances, earning the highest scores on the bars.
The dedication and hard work demonstrated by our gymnasts is truly commendable. Their success wouldn't have been possible without the guidance and support of our dedicated coaching staff at Delta Gymnastics, Georgina Parker, Laura Lancaster, Hebe Redmond (Old Collegian), Larissa Lum (Old Collegian), and Layla Bacon. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to them for their invaluable contributions in preparing our gymnasts for the Championships and for their guidance and support on the day.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and applause from Clayfield spectators as our gymnasts showcased their skills. It will be a day to remember etched into the sporting history of CC Sport, and we couldn't be prouder of our Clayfield College Artistic Gymnastics team.

2024 Secondary Interhouse Cross Country Championships
We're excited to announce the upcoming Interhouse Cross Country Championships.
Date: Tuesday 16 April
Time: 8:30am
Age Groups: Years 7-12
Location: Nudgee College
Distance: All age groups will run the 3km course.
Information: Attendance at the Interhouse Cross Country Championships is compulsory. Buses will depart for Nudgee College at 8:45am. Students are to wear their sports uniforms to school.
