Family and Faith

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are so excited to have been able to get Little Stars Playgroup up and running again this term. We have been joined by some lovely friends and look forward to getting to know more new people as they come along. Below is the photo of our wonderful art from this morning, we all joined together to read the beloved story, 'Where is the Green Sheep?'.

Playgroup will be held every Friday morning for the rest of the term. It will now be held in the library and will start after assembly, beginning with a short reflection for the parents.

All siblings from 0-5 are welcome to join us for a morning of fun, song and prayer. Those who aren't yet at school, but are thinking of joining the school are also welcome to attend. 

Recently our Year 6 students took part in a very special activity in which they wrote a prayer card for those students from St Patrick's College at Sutherland who attended primary school here at OLSS and are completing their HSC this year. All students were given a name of a student to write to and it is hoped that the children will continue to think of, and pray for, these students over the HSC period. This activity is a long standing tradition within our local area and we as a community are praying for all those completing their HSC this year.
