Learning, growing and celebrating together...

Dear Sacred Heart Kew Families,

Welcome back to Term Four. I hope that all families were able to enjoy the school holiday break. It's fantastic to be all back together and straight into the thick of learning and fun (as the sun appears and stays out for us, just that little bit more). We look forward to a number of exciting events and activities this term.

One of these was celebrated last night as ten of our Year 6 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation, receiving the fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It was a beautiful Mass celebrated by Very Reverend Anthony Kerin (Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Melbourne) and concelebrated by Father Trevor. Congratulations to all children who became adults in the eyes of the Church, choosing a Saints’ name (with particular meaning and relevance to their lives) and carefully selecting a Sponsor, who will act as a model and guide for their ongoing faith journey. We also acknowledge their Year 6 classmates, staff and family members who supported them throughout their preparation and who were present at the Sacrament of Confirmation Mass last night.

Some other exciting events this term include:
