An Inspiring Note from Oscar Tullio in 4 Burgan

Last Friday, Oscar put his ‘brave in front’ to cut off his long hair for Loud Shirt Day.

“I want people to wear their loud t-shirts and donate money for CanDo4Kids, so people like me can get services and support for their hearing journey. So, I am cutting off my hair to raise money for that. And so that kids can understand that being deaf, blind or different doesn't matter because we are all different. I keep my hair long to cover my ears, so cutting it off shows that we can all be brave.”

If you would like to donate money towards CanDo4Kids, here is the link:

Congratulations to Oscar on this wonderful achievement and for supporting this great cause!

Webinar summary: Tween and teen girls don’t have a problem with screens. Just ask them.

They’ll tell you everything’s fine. But… ask them to put that screen away, get off social media, or stop obsessing over everything online and you’d better prepare for battle!

Of all people who use devices and screens, some researchers have found that adolescent girls are the most at risk of decreased wellbeing, friendship issues, and body image difficulties. Yet others find moderate use of devices can support wellbeing.

But is the problem the screen? Or is it something else?

In this webinar, Dr Justin Coulson (expert and host of Channel 9’s Parental Guidance) and Jocelyn Brewer (psychologist and founder of Digital Nutrition) answer your most vexing questions regarding tween and teen girls and their screens.

Join Dr Justin Coulson for the webinar that will answer your questions. You can find this webinar by searching once logged into the link below.
