Year 3 Update

Learning Focuses: Term 3, Week 10

During Week 10 of this term our Year 3 students undertook the following learning:

Literacy To understand and write recounts. To understand how to make the 'ear' sound. Using the spelling /ear/, /eer/, and /ere/. To understand and revise the suffixes we have learnt this term.
Maths To understand place value. To understand chance.
Inquiry To showcase our learning from Inquiry from this term.
Social and Emotional To discuss the areas of SEL we have enjoyed this term and how we applied them.

News and reminders

Homework books: Please remind your child to bring their homework books to their teacher on their day. Please refer to the class Compass page or ask the teacher if you are unsure of the correct day.

Drink bottles: Please remember to bring a drink bottle to school every day. It saves disruption to your child's learning when this is accessible within the room. They are able to fill up their bottles in a nearby classroom.
