Prep Update

Learning From Term 3 Week 10.

Reading	Students revised the sounds we learnt this term (ch, sh, th, ll, ff, ss and ng) Students continued to distinguish the difference between fiction and non-fiction texts.
Writing	Students created a creature using salt dough then wrote about its appearance and characteristics.
Maths	Students focused on the concept of statistics. They asked questions, collected data and represented their findings in graphs.
Inquiry	Students revised what they learnt about Australian Animals and discussed what they enjoyed.
Social and Emotional	Students revised the areas of SEL we covered this term and played a range of games to promote teamwork and co-operation.

Hats are back!! Please ensure your child has a named Hillsmeade hat at school every day.
Last Day Term 3- Friday 20th September 2.30pm dismissal
Term 4 starts - Monday 7th October
Monday 4th November - Regular classes not running - class teachers unavailable. Staff completing their Professional Practice Day.
CUP DAY Public Holiday- Tuesday 5th November
