Springvale Rise Primary School recognises that the wellbeing of our students is equally important as their learning. One of the ways we support student wellbeing is through our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program. Every class spends at least one hour per week learning important skills, such as problem solving and emotional regulation, that support them to develop self-esteem and build positive relationships. We incorporate the Department of Education’s Respectful Relationships Learning Materials and the Zones of Regulations Framework into our lessons and align the learning outcomes with the Health Curriculum and the Personal Social Capabilities.
