Music Immersion 2026

From Thursday afternoon to Saturday evening, our talented music students took part in our annual Music Immersion, and we are so excited to share the amazing results of their hard work, creativity, and passion.

Students spent three days in intensive rehearsals and workshops with expert tutors across a wide range of instruments. The final concert on Saturday evening showcased just how much they achieved!

Orchestra & Cultured

Our orchestra students were fortunate to be part of the Cultured Project through the Orange Chamber Music Festival, working with outstanding musicians from the Sydney Symphony Fellows Program. Their performances of works by Grieg and Australian composer Graeme Koehne were simply outstanding.

Choir

With all students involved the choir shared a warm and heartfelt performance of a contemporary three-part piece that filled the space with beautiful harmony.

Concert Band

The Concert Band delivered a powerful and polished performance of a military suite by Gustav Holst, impressing the audience with their dynamic control and mature playing.

Body Percussion Ensemble

A fun Music Immersion tradition continued this year, with students performing a new routine featuring body percussion and the cup song. So much coordination and so much energy!

Chamber Strings

Chamber Strings brought incredible energy with a lively Hungarian stamping piece—they awed the audience with their focus and technical abilities.

Stage Band

Stage Band closed the evening with two classic big band pieces, Sesame Street and Big Noise, featuring some very classy student solos—a fantastic finale!

Thank You & Congratulations

A huge thank you to all staff, tutors, families, and supporters who make Music Immersion possible each year.

Massive congratulations to our wonderful students for their enthusiasm, dedication, and outstanding musicianship. We are so proud of you!
