Gardening Club

In this edition of the newsletter, we shine a spotlight on our Gardening Club and highlight the many benefits it offers our students, including:

Hands-on learning – Students learn by actively planting, watering and caring for plants, giving them practical experiences that connect to science and the environment.

Responsibility and care – Looking after the garden teaches students to take responsibility for living things and understand the importance of regular care and maintenance.

Teamwork and collaboration – Students work together to plant, weed and maintain the garden, building communication and teamwork skills.

Connection with nature – Spending time outdoors helps students develop an appreciation for the environment and understand where food and plants come from.

Wellbeing and mindfulness – Gardening provides a calm and relaxing activity that supports students’ wellbeing and allows them to enjoy time outside the classroom.

We look forward to seeing our garden continue to grow as students work together to care for and enjoy this special space.
