As we approach the end of Term 1, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the academic journey so far. Reports have now been released, and your indicative grades are available for review. Please take the time to carefully assess your progress and identify areas for improvement. In addition, many of you have recently participated in interviews with teachers. These conversations provided valuable feedback—be sure to apply their suggestions as you move into Term 2 to continue improving and achieving your best.
As we head into the school holidays, we encourage you to take time to rest, recharge, and return next term stronger than ever. Use this break to reflect on your goals and plan for the term ahead!
A couple of important reminders for next term:
If you have a spare period during the school day, please remember that you are not permitted to leave the school campus. Use this time productively, whether it’s catching up on work or revising for upcoming assessments.
For those with sports classes, please ensure you have the required change of clothes. If you have sport in Period 1 or 2, you are welcome to come in your sports uniform. If you have sport in Period 4, you may leave in your sports uniform at the end of the day.
Wishing you all a well-deserved break, and we look forward to seeing you back in Term 2 with renewed energy and focus!
Best regards,
The Year 10 Team

Last week, students engaged in the Year 10 Geography in Action subject journeyed to Port Phillip Bay to investigate coastal management of Brighton, Elwood and St Kilda beach.
Students took note of various erosion reduction methods such as sea walls, rock armour and groynes, and viewed cultural landmarks like the Brighton Beach Boxes and the newly renovated St Kilda pier. A beautiful 24 degree day led to a perfect day to visit the beach and enjoy the sights, as students conducted their fieldwork and took extensive notes.
