Year 8 News  

Last month, Noemi (8H2) competed in an international fencing competition in Singapore, facing opponents from around the world. She put in a strong performance and secured a gold medal.

We’re proud of Noemi’s achievement which reflects her dedication and hard work. We look forward to seeing her continue to excel both in and outside of school!

The Lester Prize Youth Awards 2025

Congratulations to Ethan of Year 8 for becoming a finalist in The Lester Prize Youth Awards. The Lester Prize is one of Australia’s most prestigious portraiture prizes—an award that places artists and the community proudly front and centre. The Lester Prize Youth Awards encourages the creative talents of young, aspiring and emerging artists. It is open to all High School students across Australia. 

Ethan's painting titled 'Dreams Between the Pages ' (Acrylic on Canvas), will be displayed in their gallery in Perth until 25th November. Winners of the Lester Prize Youth Awards are announced in late May. Good luck Ethan!
