Upcoming Events for Students and Families

Learn to Swim

All students from Prep-Year 4 will be participating in our upcoming Learn to Swim program.  This will be held at the Splash Devonport Aquatic and Leisure Centre and lessons are taught by qualified swimming instructors.  Class teachers and teacher aides will attend with their class. 

 

Dates:

  • Thursday 27th March-Wednesday 2nd April - Prep-Year 2

  • Thursday 3rd April-Wednesday 9th April - Year 3/4 students

Venue: Splash Devonport Aquatic and Leisure Centre

Transport: Kinetic Bus

 

Please Pack:

Asthma puffer (if required)

Bathers

Towel x 2

Plastic bag for wet clothing

Goggles (optional)

Drink & extra snacks

 

Please bring items in a sturdy carry bag (plastic bags are not strong enough) and ensure that all items are clearly named

 

Students are to wear their sports uniform for the duration of the program. It is also recommended to bring an extra snack to eat before or after their swimming lessons.

 

Please indicate your permission via Consent2Go.  Your child will be unable to participate without consent. Any students not swimming will still be required to travel to the pool with their class and observe.

 

All Things Soccer Season Share Table - this week!

On Thursday 27th and Friday 28th March, we are having an ‘All Things Soccer Season' share table - think socks, shin pads and soccer boots that no longer fit.  More informaion is available on the DCS Community page

 

Hot Cross Buns

On Friday 11th April, as part of celebrating Easter and the last day of Term One, DCS Community will have Hot cross bun lunch treats available for all students to purchase. Information on how to order can be found here.

Easter Service

Save the date, 8:40am Friday 1th April, to join us for our Easter Service. 

 

Join us as students and staff as we worship and reflect on the Easter message, followed by morning tea.

 

Early Learning
