ANZAC DAY Ceremony

Thank you to Angus Kendall for his leadership in attending the ANZAC Day Ceremony at Roger's Reserve at 1pm to read a passage of a conflict and lay a wreath on behalf of our school. Thank you to Reid for accompanying Angus in this ceremony and to all our other school leaders and students who attended. Thank you to the parents who assisted with this event. Lest We forget.

Our School Highlights

We are involved in evaluating all aspects of our school and one part that we require is your input into what have been some of our highlights as a school over the past 3 years.

These highlights can be events, activities, school values, Teaching and Learning, Wellbeing or general school culture.

School Culture

I am often asked about ' How is your school?' and I am very fortunate to comment " Our school is great!"

The school culture at PVNPS is one that supports kindness, respect and has a shared focus on learning and wellbeing. It is important to now that all relationships matter to us and building quality relationships pivotal in all that we do. It is important to understand that we continue to develop students across all domains as primary school is to develop their foundation for their future self.

Home/school relationships have greatly improved this year with homework being streamlined, families using compass to notify absences and email teachers and families getting more communication. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns so that we are aware and can be proactive.

We have portfolios coming home at the end of term 2 which is a new initiative from parent feedback last year. This will be great for you to see samples of student work in reading/writing and maths.

Thank you to our PVNPS community for being respectful and supportive and please spread the positivity about our school to your friends and family, as word of mouth is an important player within reputation.

HELP OUT - Some time or some donations!

It is great to see families giving the school an hour or two for the election BBQ or Mother's Day Stall or sending up donations for our students to select from a range of bought to home made gifts.

We really do appreciate the smallest of assistance.
