Dear Parents,

National Reconciliation Week

Reconciliation Week highlights the need for us to continue building the relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people, for the benefit of all Australians.  This week provides a wonderful opportunity to educate our students about equality and equity, unity, historical acceptance, race relations and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Recently students participated in a simple activity highlighting the values associated with unity and reconciliation by contributing to an art piece that was displayed at the Youth Art for Reconciliation 2025. An exhibition of artwork by students in the City of Monash, titled Under Bunjil's Wings.

You can see a photo of our artwork below.

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

Earlier this week I informed families via email that our OSHC will no longer be run by Camp Australia from Term 3.  MACSEYE, a new entity under Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS), will be the new governing body. Thankfully staffing arrangements will remain the same so the wonderful experience that our students enjoy will continue. An introduction letter is attached below for your reference.

Friday June 6: Student Free Day

On Friday June 6, teachers will be undertaking professional development and planning sessions here at school and as such this is a student free day.  The Monday after that weekend is the King's Birthday public holiday.

Unfortunately there will be no provision of onsite OSHC from Camp Australia on Friday June 6.
