Referendum Day - Sausage Sizzle & Cake Stall

As in previous election years, Newtown PS will be an official polling location for the upcoming Referendum Vote on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Saturday 14th October 2023.

We are planning to run a BBQ and Cake Stall fundraiser on this day. Fundraising events such as this cannot go ahead without the support and ‘people power’ of our wonderful school community.

We require a number of volunteers to assist with cooking the BBQ, and selling drinks, snags, and cake stall items on the day. If you can assist on Sat 14th Oct, please click on the 'Volunteer Here' link above to select a time.

Cake Stall

We are inviting families to prepare a sweet treat or two to be sold on the day at our Cake Stall. Cake packs, with detailed information, will be sent home with the eldest students next week, and will also be available to collect from the office.

If you don’t fancy yourself a baker - a few other options to support the Cake Stall may be to prepare some lolly bags or purchase a pre-made & packaged item/s to donate.

2024 BYOD iPAD Program

In preparation for 2024, our BYOD iPad Portal via JB HiFI is now open for families. As most of you know, our BYOD iPad Program runs in years 3-6 with approximately 90% of students in these year levels having access to their own iPad device to support and enhance their learning.  All details are listed below and if you require any assistance please contact the office.

Canteen Service - Fresh Meal Fairy

School Canteen Lunch Day: WEDNESDAY

Our canteen provider would like to introduce fortnightly specials. Specials will change and are available to view and order through the app.

Lunch orders can be placed via the School24 App or website - order cut off, 8 pm Tues.

Art Room - donations needed! 

Mrs. Washington is asking for donations of hand towels and/or bath towels to use in the art room.  We are asking that donations are in a reasonable to good condition, preferably no holes or tears.
