Cafe News

We celebrated all things Indonesian at Joey’s Cafe on Friday. It was great fun with Matt and Ibu Anna teaching us about Indonesian food and ingredients all with delicious results.

For an entree we served a vegetarian spring roll and a corn fritter with a thick dipping sauce and our main meal was either a vegetarian Nasi Goreng or a chicken Nasi Goreng topped with the traditional fried egg-so full of flavour!

We had special guests from Saltbush and the Defence School Mentors from St Mary’s and Crib Point PS as well as family members and friends from our wider community.

Next Cafe will be a Mexican themed event. We hope to see you there!
