Year 1

As part of the PDHPE program, Year 1 students enjoyed learning how to be responsible pet owners and handlers last Friday.  During the session the students learned about the needs of their pets and how best to ensure that their pets are well looked after.

Meeting ‘Abbey’ the labrador was the highlight of the morning and some lucky students enjoyed practising how to approach dogs safely.  An important lesson that everyone learned was what to do if they ever encountered an angry or scared dog.
