Deputy Principal's Report

Camp Update
Steele and I had the wonderful opportunity to join the Year 5 campers this past week, and it was truly an honor. The exceptional behavior displayed by these students, along with their can-do attitude and eagerness to step out of their comfort zones, reflects the character of each and every one of them. We hope they have returned home with a wealth of experiences to share, whether it's about learning to surf, getting to new heights with rock climbing adventures, giving something new a go with Aero Ball, or simply immersing themselves in the local environment.
It is not all over yet! We have one more camp to look forward to with our Year 4's heading off to Lady Northcote YMCA Camp next week. We hope this upcoming adventure will be equally unforgettable. Please get in touch with us if there are any pre-camp jitters that you might need some support with.
Your Words Matter
At times, we can all find ourselves caught in a cycle of negativity when it comes to parenting, where we tend to focus on what our children are doing wrong. Recently, I stumbled upon a poster that personally resonated with me, and I believe it can be beneficial both in my role as a parent and as a teacher. It emphasises the significance of the language we use and how shifting our focus toward a more positive approach communicating with out children. This unltimately achieving a more positive outcome for all involved. I hope you, too, might find this as valuable as I did.
Thanks again for all your support,
