FAIRY MAGIC AT ST NICHOLAS

Magical & mysterious things have been happening in our beautiful garden at St Nicholas, bringing great joy and bewilderment to our students. Over the last week, a number of 'wishing-well wishes' have been granted, and as a result, four gorgeous "fairy houses" have appeared in our brand new planter boxes . Our children have discovered a cupcake house, a strawberry house, a mango house and (thanks to Mr Clery's odd wish) a broccoli house!  A miniature letter from the fairies has finally explained everything (see attached photo). Our  children are now continuing to enjoy and further establish this special little play space. To bring a smile to your face, please take a look at the following photos.

Morning Tea for Kindergarten 2024 parents (hosted by 2023 Kindergarten parents)

Friday, 27th October - 9.00am to 11.00am - St Nicholas School Auditorium

On Friday, 27th October (first of the orientation days) parents are invited to morning tea in the school auditorium.  This morning tea is hosted by our current Kindergarten parents and will give Kindergarten 2024 parents the opportunity to meet each other while having the opportunity to receive valuable information regarding uniforms, before and after school care and bus travel.  We encourage as many 2023 Kinder parents to come along so they can share their experiences of starting Kindergarten with our new parents.

The Orientation Days for children are significant in helping children familiarise themselves with the school environment and helping to make the transition to ‘big school’ so much easier.  These days are also used by teachers to make observations that may help us to cater for your child’s needs.  Children should be dressed in appropriate casual clothing with a hat and closed in shoes.  Your child should bring a water bottle and cut fruit for morning tea at each orientation visit.

YEAR 6 YEAR BOOK

Please note that the Year 6 Year Book is currently being compiled. We have photographs including students other than Year 6 (eg. buddies) throughout the Year Book and we need to make all aware that if you do not wish to have your child's photograph appear in the Year Book then you must notify the school as soon as possible.

Staff and Students with COVID-19 Symptoms

If a student or staff member is unwell and has any symptoms they should always test for COVID-19 and not attend school until they are symptom free.
