Term 4 - Week 2

Welcome to Week 2 Term 4.

Big week for Year 5: Leadership Day and Camp

Yesterday our talented Year 5 teachers and staff facilitated a leadership day for our Year 5 students. This is in line with our System's vision of ‘literate and numerate students with a hope filled future’. Leadership development helps us all, whether we hold a title, wear a badge or lead from within.

The day was filled with wonderful activities, presentations and learning. I was humbled to be invited to speak to the students and focused my time with them on 'managing what you can'. As a human being, whether a leader or not, we can mangae our enthusiasm and attitude. Bring a positive attitude and a smile to any role and you have the foundations for being successful.

Today our Year 5’s travelled to Lake Keepit for their overnight camp.

This camp is a wonderful development opportunity where our students will be placed out of their comfort zone, surrounded by trusted adults, in a safe environment.

Congratulations Laura and Josh

An enormous congratulations to Laura Chapman and Josh on the arrival of their second child, Cassian, born on Tuesday at 3.15pm. Cassian is a little brother for Alvey who is already referring to him as ‘Bubba’.

Have a great week.
