Year 12 Breakfast

On Tuesday 12 September we were happy to be able to celebrate 'Life in Landy', with our traditional Year 12 Breakfast. Students were treated to pancakes, hash browns, fruit, croissants, filled pastries and the ever-favourite pinwheels.

Despite the early start, there was a great buzz in the air, and it was a wonderful way to begin the day. Several fun awards were handed out which related to 'Life in Landy', including, 'Most likely to be injured', 'Most likely to break something' and 'Most likely to be last to leave the Landy each day', to name a few.

A big thank you to our Senior School Admin Assistant Kate Barresi, for her amazing organisational efforts and the Canteen (Jude Fina Foods) for their marvellous catering. Thank you also to all the staff who helped out with serving the food to students.

The breakfast was followed by an hour- long session in small groups with Elevate Education, presenting 'Ace Your Exams'. This aims to provide students with a range of strategies to set themselves up to be positive, productive, and organised in the lead up to the end of year exams, including tips on how to manage stress and remain balanced.

We wish students all the best for these final weeks of school and look forward to the upcoming Valedictory Dinner on 19 October.

Please remind all students that they must carry their Student Compass ID/Library/PTV  Cards with them at all times.

ALL students must sign in and out with their card at The John Landy Centre (Senior School Building)when they are arriving late or leaving early for any reason.

The cards are also used for any student photocopying that is done at school. The EDSC Student Compass ID/Library card can be used as ID for student PTV (Public Transport Victoria) travel. They are required to carry this card as student identification while travelling on public transport.

If a student loses their card, parents/guardians are able to re-order a replacement card via the Compass parent portal.
