30 October 2023 – Next PFA Meeting
The PFA will hold its next monthly meeting on Monday 30 October 2023 at 7.30pm in the school staff room in the Main Office Block.
The Parents and Friends Committee is an informal, friendly group of interested parents who provide assistance at various school functions throughout the year such as information nights, music nights, school production, parent/teacher interview days etc. P&FA also fundraises with a focus to raise extra funds to use on worthwhile projects that will benefit the College community. We will be delighted to include you in our group, please email your expression of interest to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will be extremely happy to add you to our group.
12 October – Spring Concert
After the brilliant success of the Winter Music Concert, it is now time for the Spring Music Concert on Thursday 12 October 2023. The Parents and Friends Committee will be organising a refreshment stall. Enjoy tasty nibbles, snacks, hot food and beverages for sale at our stall during half hour interval between the two concerts. Please come support us and enjoy all the goodies at our stall during the concert break.
This event cannot be a success without the help of our dedicated team of PFA volunteers. If you would like to volunteer and have a valid WWCC please forward your interest to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com.
14 October 2023 – Referendum Day Sausage Sizzle
The PFA will be organising its second Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser at the school on Referendum Day (Saturday 14 October 2023). The Sausage Sizzle will run all day from around 8am to 4pm outside the exit to the Performing Arts Centre. Please do visit our stall to enjoy a snag and a drink after you cast your valuable vote(s).
We will as always need volunteers to help us throughout the day in 2 hour shifts between 7am and 5pm and will be extremely grateful for whatever help we receive. We request you to volunteer if you have a valid WWCC. Please forward your interest to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com.
7 September 2023 – Baked Goods Sales at Parent Teacher Interviews
The PFA organised a baked goods stall at the Parent Teacher Interviews on September 7, 2023. We would like to thank everyone who visited the stall to support us and contribute to the sell out by the end of the day. A very big thank you to all the lovely volunteers who contributed their time to help us in spite of their busy schedules with work and their children’s interviews on the day.
Also, a well-deserved special thanks to our very own bakers (Pearl, Rae, Jammy and Afshan) who baked all the goodies that we sold on the day.
