Premier's Reading Challenge

The 2026 NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge is here, and it’s the perfect opportunity for Years 7–10 students to discover new stories, explore different genres and build a lifelong love of reading. The challenge encourages students to read widely from a list of high‑quality books selected by literature experts, helping them grow as thoughtful, curious and confident readers.

Whether you’re already an avid reader or looking for something new to spark your interest, the PRC offers hundreds of exciting titles — from fantasy and graphic novels to biographies, mysteries and contemporary fiction. Completing the challenge not only strengthens reading skills but also boosts creativity, vocabulary and overall academic success.

Students can access support, book recommendations and reading logs through the school library. It’s a great chance to set personal reading goals, discover new authors and share your favourite books with friends.
