Open Boys - NSW State Basketball Tournament

Congratulations to our Boys Open Basketball team who represented Kellyville High School at the NSW State Basketball Tournament on Thursday 4 June at Hills Hornets Stadium. Competing in Division 1, the team opened strongly with two wins and narrowly missed a third victory. Their efforts secured a place in the semifinals, where they unfortunately did not progress to the final round.

Well done to the following players for their outstanding performance: Tom L. (Captain), Duane I., Rohan R., Andreas M., Elijah M., Ethan J. and Benji O., with support from Jack M.

A special acknowledgement goes to Josh L. for refereeing both the Boys and Girls matches across Thursday and Friday.

Thank you to Coach Mr Ben Kelley and parent representative Mr Michael L. for their ongoing support and commitment to the team.

U15s Netball - Round One Victory

What a game yesterday — a hard‑fought 24–22 win after coming from behind in the final five minutes. Every player stepped up when it mattered and delivered. Huge thanks to Plumpton High School for a great match, to Miss Maloney for her coaching, and Mrs Maloney for her umpiring. Proud of our team’s grit and determination.

Outstanding Cross Country Success Across Zone, Region and State

Our school community is incredibly proud of the outstanding students who represented us at the Macquarie Zone Cross Country Carnival earlier this term. Each runner showed determination, resilience and true sportsmanship as they tackled a challenging course and a highly competitive field. Whether pushing for a personal best or cheering on teammates, our students embodied the spirit of our school from start to finish.

A special congratulations goes to all competitors for their exceptional effort — and a special mention to student photographer Jonah, whose sharp eye and creativity captured the spirit of the event. His photos helped showcase the energy, teamwork and pride of the day.

Following their strong performances at the Zone Carnival, 15 students went on to compete at the Sydney West Cross Country on 9 June 2026 at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. 

We are thrilled to announce that four students placed in the top 10, earning selection to compete at the NSW Combined High Schools Cross Country Carnival on Tuesday 21 July, also at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.

Congratulations to our NSWCHS qualifiers:

• Rohan M. — 4th place, 13 Boys
• Mitchell M. — 5th place, 17 Boys
• Oscar Z. — 9th place, 18 Boys

• Evie B. — 2nd place, 18 Girls

   

Their achievements reflect not only athletic talent but also dedication, perseverance and pride in representing our school at the highest level.

Macquarie Zone Athletics Carnival – Celebrating Two Big Days of Track & Field

Our school community is thrilled to congratulate all students who competed at the Macquarie Zone Athletics Carnival across two exciting days of track and field events. From explosive sprints to long‑distance grit, powerful throws to soaring jumps, our athletes demonstrated determination, skill and unwavering school spirit. Every competitor gave their all, whether chasing a personal best, stepping up for their team, or even tackling a new event with confidence.

We applaud the outstanding effort, sportsmanship and resilience shown throughout the carnival. Your commitment over both days was inspiring and a true reflection of the pride you bring to our school.

A special congratulations goes to Blake B., who was crowned the Macquarie Zone 13 Boys Champion — an incredible achievement that reflects his hard work, consistency and competitive spirit. Well done, Blake.
