Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents,
Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences
It was wonderful to see so many parents attend the recent conferences and speak positively about their child’s progress. Parents and teachers play a vital role in supporting children’s wellbeing and learning, and working together is key to helping each child thrive.
Our teachers continue to show great dedication, giving generously of their time to plan, assess, support students and engage with families. We sincerely thank our teachers for their ongoing commitment and care.
Thank you also to our parents for your support. At Holy Family, our shared focus is on nurturing each child’s learning, growth, and wellbeing in a caring and faith-filled community.
We warmly welcome any feedback on the Year 3–6 conferences.

Graduate Program - Completing Year 6 at Holy Family
At Holy Family School, our Graduate Program is designed to ensure that every student leaves Year 6 as a confident, capable, and compassionate young person, ready to embrace the next stage of their education. The program focuses on developing the whole child-academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually- while nurturing a strong sense of responsibility and leadership.
One of the key advantages of remaining at Holy Family until the end of Year 6 is the opportunity for students to take on meaningful leadership roles within our school community. As the senior students, our Year 5 and 6 cohort become role models for younger students, leading by example in the classroom, on the playground, and during school events.
Opportunities such as school leadership positions, buddy programs, liturgical roles, and involvement in whole-school initiatives allow students to develop confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of service to others. Our Graduate Program also provides targeted experiences that support a smooth transition to secondary school. Students are guided to become independent learners, critical thinkers, and resilient individuals who are prepared to manage new challenges. They are encouraged to reflect on their learning, set goals, and take ownership of their personal growth.
Remaining at Holy Family until the end of Year 6 allows students to fully benefit from these opportunities, strengthening friendships, deepening their connection to the school, and completing their primary years with a strong sense of achievement and belonging.
We are incredibly proud of our graduating students each year and the way they embody our school values as they move forward with confidence, faith, and a love of learning. We look forward to seeing you at the presentation as we celebrate their journey and achievements together.

We are very excited to share the new Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) Partnership Principles: A Commitment by both Families and Schools.
CSBB recognises that a strong, respectful partnership between families and schools is essential to the wellbeing, growth and success of every student. The CSBB Partnership Principles are an enhanced version of the Parent Charter, reflecting our shared commitment to working together with trust, openness and mutual respect.
These principles outline the responsibilities we hold together, families and schools, to foster positive partnerships, support learning, and create safe, inclusive communities where every child can flourish.
