Year 4 - 6 Inquiry - Museums in Motion
Over the last few weeks students have enjoyed presenting their role plays and presentations of important Australian events from the time of colonisation. They explored the differing perspectives of the settlers, convicts, and Indigenous people throughout the events of: the gold rush; the Burke and Wills expedition; the crossing of the blue mountains; the circumnavigation of Australia; the Eureka Stockade; and the creation of the Overland Telegraph and the first steam railway.
Out and About at Break Times
Students are spoilt for choice when it comes to break times. It's really nice to see children discovering new areas of the playground, different equipment to use and new friends to play with. Our students have enjoyed playing tag with Carolyn, soccer with Dave, follow the leader with Steph and hockey with Kathryn. Students always enjoy competing against the staff or having staff on their team.
