Principal's Report

End of Term 2 Reflections
As Term 2 draws to a close, it's a great time to reflect on what has been a dynamic and productive term. It has been fantastic to witness our students deeply engaged in both their academic learning and a wide range of extracurricular activities. Congratulations to:
- All students undertaking a Year 12 subject who recently completed the General Achievement Test (GAT)
- Our Year 10–12 students for their responsible and focused approach to mid-year exams
- The many sporting teams who have proudly represented our school in interschool competitions
- Our dedicated staff for organising engaging events throughout the term
- Our student leaders, whose enthusiasm and commitment continue to inspire our school community
- And to all students across every year level who have earned 'shout outs' for demonstrating our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience — well done!
Preliminary NAPLAN and Student Attitudes to School Data
Preliminary NAPLAN and Student Attitudes to School (AToSS) data has shown significant growth for many students and improving attitudes across almost all areas. None of this growth happens by chance. It reflects the dedication of our staff, who work tirelessly to foster an engaging and safe learning environment, and the strength of our teaching and learning model, which is designed to support every student's engagement and growth in their learning outcomes.
Uniform Expectations – Winter Reminders
As winter sets in, we remind all students to come to school prepared for the colder weather. It's also important that students wear the correct College uniform, as outlined in our policy, including the correct footwear, and do so with pride. Permitted warm options include:
- Thermals, a white skivvy, or a plain white tee under the uniform
- College blazer, bonded jacket
- optional head scarves and hi-jab (single colour - white or black)
- scarf – charcoal in colour
Looking Ahead to Term 3
Semester 2 begins for students on Tuesday 14 July 2026, and we know it will be another busy but rewarding term. I encourage everyone to rest and recharge over the holidays. Find moments to fill your buckets and participate in activities that bring you joy and happiness.
I hope that all our students, staff and their families have a safe and enjoyable holiday break.
See you in Term 3, well rested and ready to learn.
Best wishes,
Pam Robinson
Principal
