Middle Learning Community

Year 3 have been busy in the last week doing lots of learning about Fractions, the suffix-ment, the famous explorer Captain James Cook and in their RRRR's lesson; learning about working as a team and with different people.

The students enjoyed a game of 'Keepy Uppy' with each other (as seen in the pictures below), working on their cooperation and communication skills.

YEAR 4

SACRAMENT TIME:

Thank you to everyone who went to mass on the weekend and supported Year 4 to receive their Confirmation stoles. Those who missed the weekend are able to come along this weekend and receive them; could you please meet Stephanie Arundel prior to mass on Saturday (mass starts at 6:30pm) or Mary Hyde on Sunday morning (mass starts at 11am).  We encourage all our Sacramental students to attend weekend mass with their families during the Sacramental program.

WEDNESDAY MASS: Thanks to the small number of mass companions who supported their children at Wednesday mass.  Could you please organise an adult companion to come along to Wednesday masses (starts at 9:30am) and sit with your child.  The Year 4 students and staff will be attending Wednesday mass for the rest of the Term 2.

EUCHARIST / CONFIRMATION AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: The After School Program is up and running this week; thank you for taking the time out to spend this hour with your child.  This is an important part of the Eucharist / Confirmation Program; it allows you time to stop and reflect on what and why makes this an important part of your child's life.
