Capital Works Project

On Monday, six new relocatable classrooms came online which will be used predominantly for English and Humanities classes.  These are an extension of what we refer to the area internally as E-Block and replace and add to three old and tired classrooms that were removed over the summer break.  This is yet another exciting milestone in the broader Capital Works Project which is improving the learning spaces across our school.

Progress on the new Administration and Wellbeing building continues to steam ahead with the frame, roofing and insulation in place.

Planning for stage 2 of the Capital Works Project, which is focused on a new Technical wing or 'Trades Hub', is also well underway with our Curriculum Area Leader for Technology, Nicholas Maxwell, given a presentation to staff recently on the project.  Designs have been reviewed in detail by impacted staff and the tender process will shortly commence.
