Building Safer Communities: An adult workshop to boost your confidence to support young people when they open up about relationships, consent and sexual violence.
Romsey Library 15th June 2.30 – 4pm
When a young person discloses experiences around sex, it can be hard to find the right words. After this workshop, adults will:
- have a greater understanding of consent laws and the relationship challenges that our teens are facing both in person and online.
- be able to recognise signs of a disclosure of sexual violence, feel confident to offer immediate assistance and know where to go for help.
This workshop will run in conjunction with Crafting Consent, in a separate room. We have 20 spots available for this workshop. Bookings are required - https://goldfieldslibraries.com/romsey-events/
