ClassDojo

Dear St Andrews Families,

This year we will be introducing a communication platform called ClassDojoClassDojo is a fantastic and free online communication space where teachers and students can safely share work with parents and carers.

St Andrews has been successfully using ClassDojo for Wellbeing, promoting our Positive Behaviours for Learning - Respect, Responsibility and Resilience - through the ClassDojo points system.  Each student has their own represented 'monster' that earns points when they regularly demonstrate our positive behaviours.  Students are highly engaged and enjoy receiving ClassDojo points.

Starting week five of this term, we will be expanding the use of ClassDojo to welcome parents and carers into the space, giving you a regular window into your students' learning. ClassDojo will provide a simple and secure way to engage with your students' activities, see significant milestones and build a positive class culture.  ClassDojo is also an effective communication tool for announcements, files (e.g. permission slips), friendly reminders, details and events.  Additionally, ClassDojo also has a translation function for those parents who would prefer to read notifications in a language other than English.

If you haven't joined already, during this week you will receive an email from ClassDojo prompting you to join.  Please accept this invite and create a login (free) so we can begin our transition to this fantastic platform.  Instructions on how to join can be found in the attached letter.
