Physical Education
Photo Trail
The Foundation and 1/2 class will be heading up to Maroondah Reservoir Park on Tuesday, May 14 for the annual Photo Trail event. This is a great day for all the students to engage in this early form of orienteering and mix with the students from other local schools.
Cross Country
We have commenced our school cross country challenge for 2024. Each Tuesday and Thursday morning during huff 'n puff the students will run a section of our cross country track. Each runner receives points for how quickly they complete the run.
9 points for less than 4 minutes, 8 points for 4-5 minutes then continuing to drop a point for each minute taken. Juniours get 2 bonus points for each run.

PE Classes

Interschool Cross Country
This will be on Friday, May 24 at Wesburn. This is an optional event for the strong runners. Details will be on Operoo as soon as I receive them.
Athletics
We finished term one with the athletics day at UYSC. It was another great day with many of our students placing in events that qualify them for the division aths day in term 4. More details when they are available.
Ski Trip
This will be for Year 5 & 6 students. At this stage, I don't have dates or costs but this is just a reminder, this optional event will be early term 3 and cost around $120.
