Journey of Wadawurrung Country
Commencing this National Reconciliation Week, Journey on Wadawurrung Country is a very special sensory and immersive cultural learning experience as Wadawurrung People bravely share their journey and the journey of those who walked before them. Presented by Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation in close collaboration with photographic artist Ferne Millen and sound artist Vicki Hallett, this project captures portraits, soundscape and stories of Wadawurrung Country.
Tuesday May 28 - Sunday June 16
Open daily 10am-3pm, Grant Pavilion, Torquay
The exhibition will open for an additional evening on Wednesday 29 May, 5.30pm-7.30pm.
The exhibition will be CLOSED for the public holiday Monday, June 10. Entry is free. A Wadawurrung Traditional Owner will be on site at the exhibition each day to answer any questions or to simply have a yarn as you visit the exhibition.

Life Without Barriers
Life Without Barriers is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing safe, nurturing, and stable homes for children and young people in need.
Life Without Barriers provides foster care services in the Barwon region and there is a high demand for foster carers in the community; as the need for child protection services increases, so too does the urgent need for more carers. We are actively seeking individuals from all walks of life, cultural backgrounds, and family types – singles, couples, with or without children, including same-sex couples – to open their hearts and homes to children and young people in need.
